The LineAr 100 VA installs directly inside the tank with very little vertical drop required, making it ideal for tight layouts where the roof outlet and tank inlet are close in elevation. The 440 micron stainless steel mesh is positioned vertically inside the housing. As rainwater flows through the filter, clean water passes sideways through the stainless steel mesh and is directed to the storage tank, while leaves, roof granules, and debris continue flowing past the mesh and out through the storm drain. The stainless steel filter insert lifts out by hand from ground level using the included lifting handle, no tools required and no need to enter the shaft. The insert is dishwasher safe or can be cleaned by hand with warm water and dish soap.
