Poly WISY LineAR 100 Rainwater Filter

Quantity

Designed for installations where elevation is limited, the LineAr in-tank filter requires very little vertical drop to operate, making it ideal for tight layouts where the roof outlet and tank inlet are close in elevation. The filter installs directly inside the tank and is easily reachable from the top opening for simple maintenance. The collected rainwater is naturally soft, making it well suited for non-potable uses such as toilet flushing, laundry, and irrigation.

Whether you are building new or retrofitting an existing system, the LineAr 100 K fits into your current pipework without additional excavation. With just 2" of height difference between the rainwater inlet and the dirty water outlet, it works perfectly in systems where elevation between roof and tank is minimal or where no existing filter is in place.

The LineAr 100 K is designed with a vertical stainless steel mesh rather than a horizontal screen. Instead of debris settling on the mesh and causing clogs, it passes straight through and washes out to the drain. Clean water is directed into your storage tank and the system keeps working reliably storm after storm. One of the biggest benefits of this design is how little upkeep it needs, with most users cleaning it just 2 to 3 times a year.

Also available in a stainless-steel version, the LineAr 100 VA.

Features and Benefits

High-Efficiency Vertical Filtration

The 440 micron stainless steel mesh is positioned vertically inside the housing. As rainwater flows through the filter, clean water passes sideways through the stainless steel mesh and is directed to the storage tank, while leaves, roof granules, and debris continue flowing past the mesh and out through the storm drain. This vertical orientation prevents particles from accumulating on the mesh surface, which is a common problem with horizontal or angled filter designs that trap debris and restrict flow.

The filter removes leaves, roof granules, moss, and fine sediment while achieving a water yield greater than 90% at a flow rate of 22.2 gallons per minute (1.4 liters per second). The pipe diameter is uniform throughout the entire housing, keeping flow consistent even in heavy storm events.

Water Quality Suitable for Non-Potable Household Uses

Rainwater filtered through the LineAr 100 K is clean and naturally soft, making it an excellent source for toilet flushing, washing machine supply, and garden irrigation. These applications represent the most common residential uses for harvested rainwater and account for a significant portion of total household water consumption.

Durable Construction with 5-Year Guarantee

The filter housing is made from polyethylene, and the filter insert is constructed from stainless steel with no wear parts or moving components. This design eliminates the mechanical failure points that are common in more complex systems. WISY backs this product with a 5-year guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Also available in a stainless-steel version, the LineAr 100 VA.

Low-Maintenance, Self-Cleaning Design

The vertical mesh design continuously flushes debris out through the storm drain connection during rainfall, so the filter stays largely clean on its own. Routine cleaning is typically needed only 2 to 3 times per year. The stainless steel filter insert lifts out by hand from ground level without entering the shaft, and can be cleaned in a dishwasher or by hand with warm water and dish soap.

Flexible Installation for New Builds and Retrofits

All three connections use standard 4" pipes, which aligns with common residential and commercial drain pipe sizing. The filter can be installed in the access shaft of a concrete, polyethylene, or flat rainwater storage tank. Its compact footprint and low headroom requirement make it one of the most adaptable options available for installations where space inside the shaft is constrained.

Minimal Height Difference for Easy Retrofits

There is only 2" of height difference between the rainwater inlet and the storm drain outlet, which is the key advantage of the LineAr design. This makes it straightforward to integrate into existing piping without regrading or extra excavation.
