The Grand Opening of the new location of Rainwater Management Solutions at 2550 Shenandoah Ave. NW Roanoke, Virginia was held Sept. 26th. The public was invited to attend the ceremony, which included an introduction and commentary by David Crawford, CEO, and President of RMS, a ribbon-cutting, lunch, and a tour of the facility.
Rainwater Management Solutions (RMS) was formed in 1998 in Salem, Virginia to address rainwater conservation and management and sustainable water applications and practices.
RMS provides rainwater system design and installation for: harvesting rainwater for reuse in residential and commercial buildings; capturing and recycling water for reuse in car washers, laundries, and hospitals; capturing and recycling water from cooling towers; reducing storm drain runoff. RMS focuses on providing design and application of water management and water conservation systems within six primary application areas: corporate, green building construction, stormwater management and urban watershed management, commercial and residential developments, agriculture, and homeowners.
RMS promotes sustainability by only using the highest quality rainwater harvesting materials that require no maintenance and will last the lifetime of the building. RMS has adopted this philosophy from the German standards of rainwater harvesting. Germany has been utilizing rainwater harvesting for centuries and is the leader in rainwater harvesting techniques.
