Colorado Amended Regulation 84 – Now Allows Reclaimed Water for Toilet and Urinal Flushing Use

As of October 2018, Colorado has amended Regulation 84, stating it now approves the use of reclaimed water for toilet and urinal flushing.  This will take effect November 30, 2018.  Colorado defines reclaimed water as “domestic wastewater that has received secondary treatment.. to meet the standards for approved use.” 

Utilizing graywater is a huge step towards a more sustainable future and water conservation for the state of Colorado!
