Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources.
RMS was recently highlighted in the Virginia Tech College of Natural Resources' bulletin as contributing in the
recent discussions on rainwater harvesting in Falls Church, Virginia.
As stated in the article, "Sixty-two participants from local jurisdictions, state agencies,
and private companies in Northern Virginia attended to learn about this emerging technology from subject
matter experts. The workshop covered various topics related to rainwater harvesting techniques and technology, as well as information
on the progress of current and future research being conducted at Virginia Tech that shows promise in saving money
and energy throughout the commonwealth."
RMS' own Adrienne LaBranche Tucker presented on rainwater harvesting system designs and how
to design a sustainable rainwater system to reduce energy, reduce reliance on potable water for nonpotable means, and
abate stormwater issues.
